Julia's blog is a collection of snapshots

After a long stay in Paris I left travelling for a few weeks. Not spectacularly far, nor spectacularly long. When I told people I was taking a sabbatical they asked me where I would go: Asia? Latin America? Australia? Well, none of those - how dull! 

And although I love travelling, I don’t love everything about it. It is a very uncool thing to say, but travelling comes along with little inconveniences that makes me miss my own bed (although I don’t really have one anymore, now that I think about it), shower and.. toilet. 

After becoming familiar with mattresses, flushes and water taps of all kinds, it’s good to be in one, familiar place for a while!
